On 25th July-2019, two of our Anavi members namely Mrs. Asha and Mrs. Gill had gone to Keshav Hospital on Shimla bypass road.

Accidentally they came upon a daily wage labourer Bhola whose ear was profusely ejecting fluid. He was in tremendous pain. He was accompanied by his wife and two very small children. The wife seemed in tremendous stress.

Our Anavi members present there felt dismayed at the situation that this family was facing. Soon Mrs Gill checked with the ENT specialist Dr. Anoop Kaushal that if the patient was not treated immediately, it could be life threatening. Our two Anavi members got active immediately. Mrs Gill was kind enough to pay for an MRI. However a day later the rest of the Anavi members met and an immediate decision was taken to pool in money for the patient's medicines and hospitalisation. It was also decided that members will help in finding a home for the wife to work in and become independent.

We would like to mention that Capt. Rohit K. Singh went to the hospital with the Anavi team to make sure that funds collected on a personal level were rightly used for treatment.
