The sparkle in the eyes was difficult to miss.

"They are always excited when they know you are coming", their teacher told us.

The underlying spirit of any festival in our country has been to give. Durga Puja being the biggest festival in this part of the country, Anavi celebrated this year's festival with gifts for the under privileged kids at Topsia Creche. These are kids of very poor parents who are mostly hand to mouth and can't take care of their children while they try their best to make ends meet. Anavi has been associated with this institute for a few years now.

Visit to Topsia Creche has always been a special for the members of Anavi. This time was no different. The kids were expecting this visit as their measurements had already been taken last month. The smiles were much more than the Thank you which some of them could not say. The clothes, which cost a fraction of what a pair of Levis or Wrangler would cost, something we would not even think twice before buying, made their day.

Considering that Anavi is active whole year round - we can say that we are celebrating something or the other every month ; celebrating by giving. The gods and goddesses may bless us or may not, but the sincere "thank yous " and most genuine smiles make us feel that we have done something right.
