Monthly meeting was held on 5th September. Month of September was hot and humid with occasional rainy days but that didn't stop Anavi members to meet their commitments. Each did their respective jobs allotted to them without fail. Activities discussed and agreed upon during the meeting were all fulfilled. Dedication, determination and sincerity are the strength of Anavi members who tirelessly work only to put a smile on the faces of the under privileged and unfortunate people.
On 8th September we have celebrated World literacy day with Navanir non-formal school at Chetla. Students of the school who come from the local slums performed a dance drama on preserving our mother nature during the occasion. It was flawless and made us believe that we are not wasting our energy, time and money for nothing. We served them some food and beverages during the occasion which were gladly accepted and appreciated by all of them. It was a memorable occasion and was very heartening.
On 23rd September we visited Park circus creche and donated new clothes and served food packets with beverages like every year. Kids were very happy to have those clothes and their smiling faces made us happy and a sense of achievement grew among Anavi members.
On 28th September we have donated the monthly 75 lts of mustard oil to Voice of world. Those blind kids in this association can't see but can feel our love and affection. Members also visited Sarsuna home to get the dish antenna connection for the interactive classroom under Cremers Foundation.
With this we have concluded this month's activities. All the upcoming events will be discussed and approved during the next month's meeting and Anavi will continue their journey and try to make some difference with the help of our good company Anglo Eastern Ship Management. Without them we could not have done so much yet so little. On conclusion we would like to wish you all a HAPPY DURGA PUJA, NAVRATRI and A VERY HAPPY DIWALI
You may help us in various ways. Not just by donating fund, but you may also be a part of working team. You can come along with us to serve the underprivileged society. Be with them, teach them, spend time... it could be any thing. They need good words to share.
At the least, one can also help by spreading the work of Anavi on social media. If not you, anyone else may be willing to join.
